This is a veteran but still presentable,
“100 Won”
note from the
“Bank of Korea”
in the then recently established
“Republic of South Korea”
.
The
“Bank of Korea”
began issuing notes in 1949, the year after the Republic came into existence. This was the first design of the
“One Hundred Won”
note issued.

A veteran, it saw many hands and has a single serious edge tear, some edge roughness and splits and a couple of small holes from wear.
The note will be sent in a new large currency holder that protects it.
