    Description

Embossed seal of an old Gothic cathedral which represents La Collegiale de Munster.
Embossed under the seal is Geyer Freres Maison Fondee en 1895 on the front and back of the bottle.
It has a porcelain cap marked Geyer Freres Munster MLLE.
On the bottom it is embossed 75cl 80mm.
wonderful containers for lemonade, soda, water etc. on anyone's dinner table.
These are a hot item in the serving world at Restaurants all around.
    It measures 3" in diameter x 12 1/2" high.
My husband used to buy the drink that came in these bottles... he kept them for home wine making but we have more than we need.  They are historic and beautiful and useful
The labels that were on the bottles have been for the most part wiped washed rubbed off though no guarantee you won't see water droplet marks from the water washing or
a shadow of the glue from the original product labels for the most part these bottles are very clear after their soaking

In 1895, Victor Geyer installed an uncanny laboratory in his tiny makeshift house in Munster, France.
Victor Geyer made it a point to only craft his beverage using local ingredients, from the pure water coming out of the Vosges Spring next to his house to the beet sugar made in the village of Erstein.
It is around 1900 that Mr Geyer introduced his engraved bottles topped by a mechanical top closing.
This elegant closing was an innovation in preserving the carbonation level of beverages and for months Victor Geyer was the only one to adopt it for his beverages.
