Made In France Vintage 1930's Beaded Broderie Main Powder Mirror Compact

Description

Gorgeous vintage beaded, made in France powder compact. The beading appears to be black Jet and glass. The main body is the black jet with gorgeous beaded pink and white glass bead roses on top. There are some missing beads and wear on the sides guessing from being slid in and out of purses and pockets and a few loose threads on the corners. The hinge has some discoloration the closure still works great and is very strong. The compact has the original beveled mirror. The mirror has lost some silvering. It has some pink powder still inside, with the sieve and powder puff square. Interestingly it also has two foil stickers in the powder the small circle reads Made in France and the larger one reads what I think says Broderie Main. The metal frame inside is still bright and shiny. The compact measures about 2 3/4 by about 2 3/4 by about 1/4 inch thick.
