Description

From BENTON ARKANSAS,  this is a 1930's  HYWOOD by NILOAK ball pitcher.  This piece has a pretty mottled medium blue glaze and is free from any defects with the exception of no stopper for the spout. This stopper would have been cork set in a pottery cover and I've often seen these with just a cork stopper.  Marked on the base as shown in the last photo with the circular black ink stamp with HYWOOD, NILOAK, and BENTON ARK. Very attractive piece.
