Description
Niloak pottery was made in Benton Arkansas 1909-1946 from local kaolin clay - thus the name Niloak from kaolin spelled backward. Probably their most popular pieces were their Mission Swirl shapes started in 1910.This vase with a wide top rim in the traditional Niloak colors is 5-1/2 inches tall & 3-1/4 inches wide at its widest point. The top rim
is 3-1/4 inches in diameter & the base is 2 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition - no chips, hairlines, or crazing - & has the impressed Niloak mark - which I think is the early mark ca 1910-24 - on the bottom. Ships USPS.
