Beautiful Art Nouveau etched sterling silver compact with purple felt pouch. Flowing floral scene on front with ribbon like etched border, shiny smooth non-etched back. Press front tab to open, snaps securely closed and stays closed. The two inside rings/frames for your puff and powder are present and in great shape (no bends). Marked - Sterling UP - on inside edge.
Measurements:
2 7/16" front to back (or, just under 2 1/2")
2 7/16" side to side
Total weight - 72grams.
This beautiful Art Nouveau sterling silver compact is in excellent condition for an item of its age, with minor prior use, very little surface wear on reverse.
