Vintage Cobalt Blue Mirror Shaped Miniature Powder Compact. Condition is "Used".
Offered for sale is a vintage cobalt blue clear lucite, mirror shaped compact with a twisted handle with a shaped hole in the base of handle. Possibly for a tassle or carrying cord. Has scalloped edges around the mirror top. Opens to reveal a mirror in the lid, and the fitted loose powder screen in the base with a powder puff, probably not original. The exterior base also has a mirror that has some of the silvering loosening.  The top of the compact lid, is so clear, that you can actually see your reflection in the lid. No cracks, no warping, no scratches, clasp works well and securely. No "maker's mark" to be found.  Compact measures 4.5" tall x 2.5" across x .5" thick.  If you don't yet have a "mirror shaped" compact in your collection this would be a very pretty shining blue example.
