Vintage Mid Century Art Deco Wood Compact

Description

This is a wooden compact with an art deco design of a courting couple in black, white and red on the lid. It measures about 3 ¼” square. Inside there is a round mirror on the lid and a powder screen but no powder. It is in good vintage shape; the mirror has a number of issues and the design is imperfect  with some speckles and small paint loss (see photographs for details.)
