This Niloak pottery figure features a stork or heron standing in reeds with a rough cut container for use as a planter or trinket or pocket change holder. Mustard brown mat glaze finish with orange and green accents.
Bird measures 5 1/4" tall.
Large raised letter mark on the bottom "NILOAK".
This vintage Niloak stork or heron pottery figure is clean. It has an Art Deco style. Typical of Niloak pottery the form is simple and stylized with some bumps and lumps under the glaze, adding to the piece's charm. There is some paint loss on the overpaint details of the eyes and beak. Please examine photos.
