Vintage Selmer Clark 30 inch Drum Major Mace Baton with Case Marching Band RARE
This mace is in excellent condition with only light wear and is quite solid. The light has of course burned out.
The threads are still in amazing condition, so it comes apart easy and is hollow. It is magnetic, but with no rust, so it might be a type of stainless steel. The label close to the globe which says "Selmer - Clark" with "REG U.S. PAT.OFF." directly underneath it is still perfectly legible. I probably spent 45 minutes trying to find a single Selmer-Clark drum major mace anywhere, with no luck at all.
The case fits it well, and looks like it was handmade and has some tears around the part with the globe.
