    Description

    Niloak pottery was produced in Benton, Arkansas.  Niloak was founded in 1909 and produced art pottery until 1946.  The most sought-after product line produced by Niloak Pottery is mission swirl.  Niloak mission swirl was produced between 1909 and 1942.
    *This is a beautiful Unmarked Candle Holder? by Niloak ?.   This piece  is 3 " tall with a circumference of 11 1/2 " around the bottome narrows to 5 1/4" in the middle  and a circumference of 7 1/4" around the top portion.  The opening at the top is 1 1/4" across.   It is made with swirled earth tones  and  blue with a matte finish.     it is unmarked on the bottom.   The collector purchased this vase as Niloak but it is not marked?
    First Art Mark:  Impressed die stamp (art letters) used from September 1910 to 1924. .  Further break down of dates can be determined by the examination of the swirl's colors and the shapes used.
    Second Art Mark:  Impressed die stamp (art letters) used from 1925 to the end of all Missionware productions.
