    Description

    Niloak pottery was produced in Benton, Arkansas.  Niloak was founded in 1909 and produced art pottery until 1946.  The most sought-after product line produced by Niloak Pottery is mission swirl.  Niloak mission swirl was produced between 1909 and 1942.
    *This is a beautiful second mark art pottery vase by Niloak.   The vase is  4" tall and has a circumference of 13" around the rim; then tapers to 11 1/4".  The bottom measures 3 1/4" across with the top opening being 2 1/2" across.   It is made with swirled earth tones and blue with a matte finish and glazed interior.    it is marked on the bottom.
    First Art Mark:  Impressed die stamp (art letters) used from September 1910 to 1924. .  Further break down of dates can be determined by the examination of the swirl's colors and the shapes used.
    Second Art Mark:  Impressed die stamp (art letters) used from 1925 to the end of all Missionware productions.
